Yemen launches ballistic missile attack on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport

Yemen’s armed forces launched two ballistic missiles at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, following an earlier drone strike. The operation disrupted air traffic and sent millions of Israelis into shelters. Israel claims to have intercepted one missile, while sirens sounded across multiple areas

AhlulBayt News Agency: At dawn on Sunday, Yemen’s armed forces launched two ballistic missiles at Israel’s Ben Gurion (Lod) Airport, near Tel Aviv, following an earlier drone strike on the same location.

According to Yemen’s Al-Masirah satellite channel, military spokesperson Yehya Sariee stated that the missile attack involved a hypersonic “Palestine-2” missile and a “Zulfiqar” ballistic missile. He described it as a “special operation” targeting Lod Airport in occupied Yaffa.

The operation reportedly disrupted air traffic and sent millions of Israeli settlers into shelters.

Earlier in the day, Yemen’s armed forces announced that they had targeted the airport using a Yaffa-type drone.

The spokesman described the strikes as part of Yemen’s continued response to Israel’s genocidal crimes in Gaza.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army claimed on Sunday that it had intercepted one missile launched from Yemen towards Israel, with sirens sounding in several areas.
